Flexperts

A flexpert is a real person who has done this before: a designer, someone who has launched one, someone who knows your trade. When you want a human on your actual pages, you ask one.

Finding one

flexos.me/flexperts lists every flexpert FlexOS has checked and approved, each with a badge. Each has a page at flexos.me/u/their-name: what they do, what it costs in their own words, their links, and a form to ask them.

Asking one

Fill in the form on their page: your name, your email, your website if you have one, and what you need. Signed in, your name and email are filled in, and you say which of your projects it is about. The flexpert gets an email, with yours as the reply address, and accepts or declines from their own page; you get an email either way, and an accept carries their address so you can carry on directly.

Prices are words on the page. The job and the money are agreed between the two of you.

Working together in the project

To have a flexpert work on your actual pages, invite them to the project from Settings › Team. They work in every space and see everything, like anyone in the project. When the project is yours to hand to them, Settings › Project › Owner hands it over.

Becoming one

Anyone signed in can set up a page: Your profile › Flexpert page. Your address at flexos.me/u/you, your name, one line, where you are, about you, skills, what you offer with prices, links, and a cartoon you in green. Hate writing? Write it with Flexi takes a few words about what you do and drafts your one line, your About and two or three offers, each priced at a fair floor for where you are, with a line on why not to go lower; change anything, then Save. Preview your page shows it exactly as founders will see it. Ask to be listed sends it to us to check; until we approve it, only you see it, and we email you when it's listed. After that the same switch opens or pauses your page. Requests, the row under it, is where what founders asked lands, with Accept or Decline and a line back.

Being listed is FlexOS's to give: we look at every page before it goes in the directory, so founders know who they're talking to.
