Apps and builds

Apps holds the project's code, in boxes: the Website, the Agents (the agents' app) and a Phone app once someone asks for one. Each box is a folder of its own in the repo and goes live on its own. The grey switch under the find box picks the box.

A box

• Preview: the box as it is live now. The two icons at the top right show it at a laptop's or a phone's width.
• Code: its files, folders opening in place. A code file reads In words (what it must do) or as The code; a web page opens as a page.
• Builds: every build of the box, newest first, each with its plan, its steps, its check pictures and what changed.
• Settings:
  • its address, which opens it;
  • Your own address: Flexi tells you the two lines to add where your domain is, then checks them;
  • Deployments: each time it went live; Put live again goes back to an earlier one;
  • Goes live: When Flexi says a build is ready, or only when you say "put it live";
  • Built with: what it is made with, changed by asking Flexi;
  • Bring in a website: a zip of its code, the owner's (Bring your code);
  • On Vercel: its deploys, logs and settings, on Vercel.

A build

When you say "build it" in a space, Flexi hands the work to a builder. The builder:

1. writes the plan, quoting what you asked for;
2. builds the change on its own branch, never on what is live;
3. checks Vercel's preview of that branch on a phone and a laptop, light and dark;
4. puts it live, or waits for you, as Goes live says.

Its card in the space shows where it is. Anything it needs that only you can give (an address, opening hours), Flexi asks you for in the space.

Building comes with the Project plan and the Bundle. On Starter, the website stays on its holding page and Flexi offers the move up when you say "build it": Plans and pricing.
